Although it took a little longer to arrive after ordering, due to the poor service of the freight companies, once it arrived we installed the SSD and it sped the iMac up making it much faster.
Due to the fact that the iMac was running Monterey 12.7.6 software we did have some trouble cloning the HDD to the SSD but once we overcame that hiccup the rest went very smoothly.

Maybe you could include a bit of info for those that have older iMacs covering finding out which software is running the iMac and the best way to clone the old HDD onto the SSD

I guess I should’ve realised it would come from Oz - so it took a little longer to arrive than I anticipated. However, despite my 27” late 2015 iMac missing the little memory hatch opener, I had a vacuum clamp for removing screens which popped the memory hatch. It was easy enough to fit the extra RAM and now I’ve got 24GB to keep me - and my iMac - happy!

SSD made its way from Aus to NZ quickly and without drama. Cloning my old drive was a breeze with the supplied instructions. Breathed new life into my old computer. No more slow loading applications. Very happy with the service.

I was successfully able to bring a 2009 MacBook Pro back from the dead with this drive. Reduced to glacial speeds from the original OEM 2.5" hard drive the installation of the new Crucial SSD enabled me to install macOS Monterey. It really works like a new modern laptop despite being 15 years old.
