The Intel Xeon W-1200 series processors support ECC and non-ECC memory. Mixing ECC and non-ECC within the same system is not recommended. Core i series processors only support non-ECC memory. Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.
