The notebook has 8gb soldered on and 1 memory slot. The official Asus max is 16gb in total utilising an 8GB module in the slot, however some forums note that the slot can take the 16GB module also. The notebook came with either a large capacity HDD which can be swapped to an SSD for a huge performance boost or was shipped with a small capacity M.2 SATA SSD which can be exchanged for a larger module with more storage.
