For the NVMe SSDs, our recommended software is Macrium not Acronis. We have an interactive guide here
Download Macrium, follow the instructions, we send you a printed guide, cloning and install. You do not have to format/initialise the SSD, Macrium does it
automatically during the
clone. If you have any trouble, you can call our local support for friendly support and advice! Yes we answer the phone!
The clone case comes with a dual USB adapter on the cable so you can connect to USB-A or USB-C.
Crucial does not make a 2242 size SSD but we using the P310 with an adapter. The adapter
purely lengthens the SSD from 30mm to 42mm, but does
not affect performance. In fact we can not buy or make a 2242 SSD that is as fast as the
P310. That is why we are using it!
